RecommendedFriendly staff and a quiet atmosphere
Hotel was just minutes from downtown Athens where we played a show at the beautiful Georgia Theatre. Great place to see a show, lots of big touring acts coming through there on a regular basis. The hotel was extremely clean with plenty of parking. Nice big area between check in and the dining areas to sit and wait for others. Beds were very comfortable and were able to get pizza delivered within 30 minutes. I originally checked in to the fourth floor, and found hair in the bed. I alerted the receptionist, who kindly put me in a room on the third floor. There was hair in that bed as well. I promptly left and checked into a different hotel.
I was in Athens for business and the country inn treated me so well. Both the daytime and nighttime staff were extremely friendly and helpful which truly goes a long way. The location was convenient for my needs - only about a 5 minute drive from downtown. Most of all, my room was clean and my bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Athens.
What a lovely hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious, the entrance hall was beautiful and we had a lovely time. Such a comfy sleep in such a comfy place! We arrived very late in the night and there was no problem at all checking us in and the staff were incredibly nice. I always sleep soundly at this hotel. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Great temperature in the room and cookies in the lobby! An easy choice for my trips to Athens.
I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very nice for the price. The room was big and clean and nice. They were very friendly and the breakfast was good. It was a very good value.
This Country Inn and Suites is the only place I will stay in Athens from now on. I have been here several times and it is consistently clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is always hot water in the lobby (and coffee). I really appreciate that! Will definitely be back. :) ( p.s. the house keeping staff is lovely!)
