There is cheap rent in Raleigh, really! Here we go. I am a long time downtown Raleigh resident. I remember the days of $350 a month 2 bedroom apartments when no one went to Fayetteville St unless you had to go the courthouse. Today, you can actually live on Fayetteville St without calling yourself a homeless person. But, if you want to live on glorious downtown Raleigh, you better be ready to ante up $1800 a month and up for a decent place. Except, of course, for Country Club Homes apartments. Great Location The apartment itself is a bit small for two people, but the price is reasonable compared to similar places in the area. Great location, close to downtown and many restaurants, bars and shops.
