Great Place to change your transmission – Due to their recommendation i was saved around 3.5K, and more over i cud lost my vehicle,but they have saved my vehicle and my money . i`ll recommend this place to every one not 100% its 101%. best people and best place. nice work guys ,keep it up
Best value, pricing and high-quality work in the area – I met Owner Daniel Simon at our daughter's preschool. With my hood up in the parking lot and adding clutch fluid to the reservior, Daniel asked if he could help. I took my '95 Accord to Cottman that day and within an hour or so, he let me know what I needed. After approving the work, I got my car back the SAME DAY. Great Transmission Help & Customer Service – This place is great. When reading the codes for the engine light, they made me aware that the dealer had to flash the computer to update my transmission because they could not do this service. After hours of time and receiving the "run around" from the dealer, they said the problem was something else. good honest service – Transmission repair is mostly a black hole and I rarely find anyone who knows their stuff but the guys at Cottman's Transmission on James Jackson Ave in Cary are great. I have a 1999 Mazda 626 that was slipping and making noise. I got estimates from 2 places for over $3,000 to replace the transmission. Cottman did it for less than $2,000. Great customer service – I had a problem with my 2000 dodge caravan transmission,so I looked in the phone book and came across cottomans tranmission and gave them a call. I talked to Brad first and he told me all about the warranties and what they consist of. He was very friendly on the phone and in person. Great Service; Affordable – Brad and Daniel are great. The always allow me to drop off my car at my convenience, and change my appointments to meet my busy schedule. They are up front and honest about what needs done and what it will cost. Honest, Dependable and very helpful. They stand behind their work and I take all 3 of my vehicles there for service. finally a great shop to work with – Well it is funny how some people only tell some of what happens, but i will say this, i was there with my ford explorer the day the woman cam in for a headlight, it was not 3:15 it was almost 4 oclock, and i was standing outside when she pulled up. Unreliable – I had a headlight that needed to be installed so that my inspection could pass. I had the headlight ordered, but was just waiting on it to be delivered to me by UPS. I called and asked how much it would cost to have it put in, and also if it would be possible for me to come in whenever the part got to me, since I didn't know what time it would be, I couldn't set an appointment.
