The story goes that I had a nail in my right front tire that was too close to the edge for repair, so Costco gave me some money for a new tire. With 68000 miles on this set, I thought it was best to get new shoes- So I got 70$ off a set of Michelins. These are great tires and normally costco does a great job. This time - not so much. This is the absolute worst Costco I have been to. The parking lot is accidents waiting to happen. Poorly designed. Lines are always long. Much rather drive 20 miles to the Costco in Frederick!
We have been with costco since 2009, last year one of their associates convinced us to join the executive membership promising it will be great. But everything turned wrong. On last november we were told we would receive a rewards certificate which never came, we went on december to the membership kiosk and they told us "it's on its way" january came and we went back, they said "maybe got lost we will send you another" february came and nothing. Every time I need to go I wonder why I didn't just drive to Frederick. The parking design sucks, people who drive in the parking lot are ridiculous. and the customers inside are rude.
It's best to go early to beat the crowd. Plus, I knocked a star off because they sell no alcohol. That may be a Montgomery County or State of Maryland issue though. Other than that, all the staff is very helpful & Costco has a large selection of items to help you stock up at home.
It's cool. Just get in when it opens and you'll be alright. Or Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In my experience, they tend to be the lightest days.
