Costco employees in Gaithersburg are very rude and arrogant, but every single one. It looks like they all got training in being rude...Last week I went to get glasses and was told that they participate with VSP, they do, but out of network. Employees at the eye place have no idea what in network and out of network mean. Unbelievable! So, I ended up paying for low quality kirkland brand name more than I would pay for expensive brand if I went to in network place. I had an appointment for tires to be put on my car. Kevin was helpful and informative. They were short staffed, but still finished with my car in a reasonable amount of time.
Called at 10:30am to ask how long it would take to remove a nail from a single tire and I was informed 20-30mins from the time I got in. I waited in line for 35 mins, because they choose not to have a 2nd person at the desk during from it looked like rushtime and the only person on desk moves slower than my 82yr old grandmother. I just heard that Costco plans to open a huge 100 barn chicken factory-farm in Nebraska, so they can continue to cheaply source their chicken. The people in the town are against the idea-- the run-off will pollute their water supply and the size of the factory-farm will drive small family farmers out of business.

Hanif worked the door the two times I have been to this Costco and he has a terrible attitude. Tonight he was yelling at another employee while checking our basket. He never even looked at us, just put his arm out and continued yelling for an outside employee to come work the door.
