The way a salon should be – Cortex occupies a beautiful space in a secluded strip of shops in the Highlands. Inside, the high ceilings and understated decor offer a feeling of natural calm. From the hair washers (Allison's great) to the stylists (Josh is my favorite), Cortex's services exceed other area salons. There's not a bit of pretention, either, which is a nice change of pace.
