Best haircut! – Brandy gave me the best haircut I have had in years! She knows what to do with naturally curley hair. Stylish cut with wonderful do-it-at-home tips. I send all my friends here!
A treat! – Cortex spa has all the services of larger salons but is much less of a rat race and has friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It could be your first visit or 15th and you are equally welcomed. Anna's facial and Kristi's massages are my favorite treats!
Kudos to Josh at Cortex – Josh is a true professional, an amazing artist, and just a cool guy in general. I highly recommend seeing him - if you can get in! The last time I was there I saw Emily (of the Indigo Girls) ... the salon is mellow (expect to hear Miles Davis playing, for example) and subtle. If Van Michael is too much of a "scene" for you, you'll love this salon with hardwoods, gorgeous crown molding, and no-attitude staff. See you there!
Great salon! – I went in just for a color consultation and left with great color and a wonderful new cut. Brandy did a great job. I just love the results! Thanks Brandy! The place is stylish yet unassuming. They carry great products and their pricing is a pleasant surprise. Believe me, I've paid a lot more at other salons for cuts with which I was not nearly as pleased.
Great Salon!!! – I think everyone that works at Cortex is fantastic and they really go out of their way to make sure your are getting the best possible service. I would recomend them to anyone.

MY DAUGHTER HOLLY INTRODUCED ME TO SUZANNE WHO WORKS AT CORTEX WHEN SUZANNE DID MY HAIR FOR HOLLY'S WEDDING. SHE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB THAT I STARTED LETTING HER CUT AND STYLE MY HAIR. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE TO HAVE MY HAIR LOOK THE WAY I LIKE IT
Ahhhh, Cortex! – Fortunately, my good friend referred me to Cortex and her stylist, Sherry. My life hasn't been the same since! I presented Sherry with the ultimate "hair challenge." She responded with patience, expertise, and consultation skills that made me feel confident about the whole procedure, as well as how to live with my new style after I left the salon. I look forward to my visits to Cortex and the treatment I receive during my time there. The music, the smells, the lighting: A true sensory delight.
