Tracie is my recommendation – I had to tell everyone that I drove three hours from Union, SC to have my hair colored by Tracie Morrison at Cortex Salon. I had a great time and my hair has never looked so good. I will not let anyone touch my hair but her. She's a great stylist. If you feel that no one can do your hair right, I recommend that you visit Cortex Salon and ask for Tracie.
Traci Morrison is the best stylist in Atlanta!! – I went to Traci after trying many different dissapointing salons, and after working in hair salons myself. Not only is Traci a great colorist and cutter, but she listens to her clients and gives them a haircut that is beautiful and will grow out perfectly. Being a poor college student I can't go to the salon every 4-6 weeks as recommended, and she is the stylist for me because I can go 12 weeks between haircuts if I need to and still look great. Best hair studio anywhere – I just want to give a shout out to Cortex and all of the recent upgrades they've made! Love the new technology! Not only do I look amazing when I leave, but I always have a great time. Everyone always talks to me and it's such a happy, positive environment. Cortex FINALLY has a great team and it couldn't be better! Oh, the best part....Tracie's head/shoulder massage and haircut . She rocks!
Great environment/Excellent Customer Service – Krista is AMAZING!!! Love, love, love her! Not only does she give me the best haircut and color ever, she's super cool and fun. I've been coming to Cortex for a while and the environment is welcoming and unpretentious. I always look forward to my appointments because of the great energy and friendly faces. Excellent Service – I've been a client of Cortex for many years now, and I must say that it's never been better! They have recently upgraded their systems and the technology is way cool! I love my text confirmations! I truly look forward to my visits and the happy, relaxed environment. Everyone is always so helpful with booking my appointments around my crazy work schedule and I'm always greeted with nothing but friendly smiles. Cortex Hair Studio – I'm from Tampa and was visiting friends and in desperate need for highlights and a haircut. One of my friends referred me to Roxanne at Cortex, but she was completely booked for the weekend. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and was kind enough to place me on a waitlist. Horrible customer service! – I am new to Atlanta and was referred to Cortex, but am sorry to say that I will not be giving this snooty salon my business. After being placed on hold for way too long, I was greeted by someone who had no idea how to book an appointment. I was transferred over to their " salon coordinator" who was a little more helpful, but still could not accomidate my somewhat flexible schedule. Decided not to visit due to their seemingly disorganized salon.

Awesome awesome salon!!! – I'm new to Atlanta and had no idea where to begin to find a salon, let alone find a stylist who knew what to do with curly hair.
