Massimo & Zeek are wonderful staff at the clinic. But the Doctors do not let you go with your pet in the examination rooms. OVERPRICED. Also, I had other pets in the past. I went to get my Cats nails cut. They said, NO unless I paid for a physical exam. Seriously!! Don't waste your time or money 💯

Dr. Kyla Garrels has been taking care of my African Grey Parrot, Arkie. It was evident right away that she loved Arkie and was very kind and gentle towards her. She took the time and effort to really look at Arkie. She did not just rush us out the door. Arkie is an old bird and has many medical problems. She has Arkie on heart medications. Arkie has since improved and is now eating better since she feels better. She is very knowledgeable. You can trust you loved pet with her.

This place is a joke they don't care about your pet they are just out to take your money. This was the first and last time I will take my puppy there. I paid $609 dollars for them to treat her and now its seem like she is worst. I called several times before I can get Dr. Dunlap to call me. Then she tells me that I can take her back and she will send me an email with an estimate cost of what they would probably charge me $900 so they can see her and treat her again. This Dr. Dunlap is a quack. Never again will I go there.

We had all 3 of our dogs as regular patients at VCA Chiquita for over 2 yrs. Each dog was on preventive heartworm medication, all 3 are young, happy healthy dogs. We tried to get their RX for heartworm medication renewed however this VET would not renew the RX without seeing the dogs, claiming they were due for their one yr check up. I explained that money was tight at the moment and we could afford to have all 3 dogs seen BEFORE their heartworm medication expired and I didnt want them to miss a dose, could they just call... read more

My dog was last seen on February 12, 2024, only 12 days after my big brother Passed away. The bill for a yearly checkup with minimal care was nearly $400. The vet had administered a shot after I had specifically stated I did not have the extra funds for anything not immediately necessary. I tried to pay several times during the course of the conversation. Due to the discrepancies they decided not to take my payment & instead have someone call me the next day. I did not receive a call until the afternoon of the 16th (4 days l... read more

Dr Saffold is amazing. You can tell she truly cares for the cats and is very gentle. The clinic is clean and comparable. Highly recommended! I will be going back.

Pet owners BEWARE! Good: 1) Convenience - this veterinarian clinic is located near us and therefore we have frequented it a couple times due to its convenience 2) The veterinarian that we interacted with was friendly and cordial and they appear to care for your pet Now, the bad, very bad: 1) The waiting times on the few visits that we have had here does seem to be a bit long 2) The prices!! Again, the prices! Let me explain: The couple times we have taken our pet to VCA Aspenwood for a wellness check and and issue for his e... read more

I USED to get great care here..USED to. One of my dogs was lethargic I called ahead to let them know we were on the way. When we got there I filled out all the ER paperwork the tech was less then patient with my dog getting him to the back because he was slow and she yanked on my poor dog. Vet came back after evaluation saying nothing outward was found but a fever and high blood pressure which she chalked up to the tress of being at the vet. She wanted to do blood work so they put together an estimate. $215 for ER (reasonabl... read more
