Laid-back place:) beautiful lofted room with cold air conditioner blessing us with a wonderful night's sleep! Lovely walking area and an easy jaunt to Mestizo's Cafe for a cup of Cuban coffee and arapas!
The property was significantly misrepresented in the listing. Do not believe the pictures—they look nothing like the actual property. The beds were uncomfortable, stained, and squeaked from the old metal coils. Bugs, were present in the bathroom, and both the property and pool were dated and poorly maintained. Awesome spot with amazing people. The rooms are super clean…if a bit rustic. The neighborhood is a Quiet neighborhood with access to a private beach. In short, amazing!
The location is good, but unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. The service is absolutely horrible. The staff is extremely unprofessional, rude, and practically never available when you need assistance. Trying to get in touch with someone is incredibly frustrating. The property itself is extremely dirty and has a terrible smell. You can find dirty rags left around different areas, and the overall cleanliness is shocking. This place is a SCAM!! Nothing like the photos. Not one thing like the photos. None of the faucets work. Kitchen faucet doesn’t work you have to hold the button on. The shower doesn’t work and drains slow. There’s no hand soap at any sink, no paper towels, no trash bags. This place is DISGUSTING! I spilled some juice on the floor and my only option was to clean it up with a white bath towel. The towel was black when I was done, the floor is so dirty.
