After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper’s Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. One of my favorite date night places to go. Love the atmosphere
My husband and I recently stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and sat in the bar area. The food was amazing....the chicken chorizo burger was incredibly good and huge! Our bartender Josh made some great recommendations for food choices and was spot on describing their sandwiches. The wine is always good & my husband liked their house craft beer. Really like the bar area and it wasn't crowded like weeknight happy hour and evenings. Not a "cheap lunch" but for ambience and great food totally worth it.
Great food and amazing atmosphere. We loved our server Savanah. We will request her by name next time again fantastic!!
Who knew that you would get an appetizer and your entree before you get a bottle of wine and then be told that it was our fault that we did not order it timely. In addition our entree was mediocre warm. My mistake I thought this was a winery and restaurant. Suggestion - give the customer the option of putting in their own order?
Food and wine, delicious as always. Service... Not so much. I made reservations for 715, arrived at 6pm for a wine tasting, and checked in with the hostess when I arrived. We finished the tasting early, and around 645 found a table near the bar. The host did not call me until 820, over an hour after my reservation. No apologies, no offers of compensation... I really want a 4.5 star option! * Being able to book a table on Open Table on the way to the restaurant - Grande * Great waiter * Average expected wait time * Diversified menu - plate sharing allowed with a MORE than ample entree * Creative appetizers - I HIGHLY recommend the crab beignets * Today the Braised Ribs, Risotto with sweet onions, mushrooms and white truffle oils scored big!(just a bit of a heavy hand with the salt but totally amazing) * Fresh out of the oven pretzel bread? We had an delicious meal with excellent wine in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was fabulous. We'll be back!
