After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. Excellent service, poor food, not sure what the chef was up to, but my food came out burnt, not sure how a chef can burn gnocchi, but it was black since it took an hour to get our food I am blaming the back staff, chef and Manager for not being on top of this situation. While I was offered another meal, I was not willing to wait. They took the meal off the bill and offered me a desert, but I feel more should have been done. This was our first visit. Upon walking in it was a little hectic getting to the hostess station. The bartender Sheryl was fantastic! Very knowledgable & personable. Wines were very good! Our waiter was ok. I was slightly disappointed in the fact that when I called to make the reservation, the lady asked if we were celebrating anything special & I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary & nothing was really done different. So my wife's favorite restaurant ended up being closed on her birthday, so we chose this as a last minute audible on a recommendation from a friend. It was so good, my wife was glad her first choice was closed! Great atmosphere, great service, and outstanding food! We will instantly be adding this to our favorite restaurant list. 👍👍

This is one of my FAVORITE places. The vibe is great. The customer service is above and beyond. The food makes you want to go back in the kitchen and hug everyone. I am the one that would go to Publix for wine and give up and go for safe - moscato! The wine tastings are super affordable and definitely broadened my horizons. I've been there twice in less than 2 weeks and loved both experiences. It's great for a girls night or romantic date or a group of friends. �
One of the best Thanksgiving meals ever. Everything was done to perfection. And being with family and friends was wonderful
I visited the restaurant yesterday with friends for a Thanksgiving Dinner. At the last minute I decided to ordered Medallions Filet for dinner and it was delicious. Our server Anita M. was great. Great creme brulee and great customer service.
