RecommendedHappy with my doctors and nurses are wonderful... but may have to switch health care facilities. I have decent insurance so should only be charged $50 copay for specialty doctor visit... but cooper has started adding a " specialty room" fee of a couple hundred dollars every time I visit the doctor for check up. Nothing "special" about the room, just a regular exam room. Insurance will not cover a charge to use the exam room and I cannot afford to pay this additional fee each time I visit the doctor. Cooper University Health Care charged me $2,500 to quite literally “look” at a spider bite on my wrist. After waiting on a pile of cushions in the ED, a physician held up my arm, took a quick look, asked if I wanted a Motrin (I declined) and sent me home. Got billed $2,500 on top of the $100 copay. Will wait for the local Urgent Care to open next time.
the nurses were great, especially on the 7th floor very, caring and helped me get through such a horrible situation — at Cooper University Health Care.

I was charged an outpatient hospital visit when I went to a dr's office apt to have my blood drawn for a CBC. I saw the dr for literally 5 minutes and because they charged as an outpatient hospital visit, I am stuck paying almost $470 out of pocket!! I've seen my Hematologist 4 or 5 times and I've only paid my office co-pay for a specialist. When I called the billing office, the person with whom I spoke was snarky and very rude!!!!!! I will not be returning to MD Anderson!!!!!
The service is very professional pediatric area did a great job taking care of my daughter and us I don't have words or enough ways to thank them for what they did for my daughter!! The nurses and Doctors Mohammed gave us a great service
My mother was at cooper hospital for longer than a week and she had great nurses and doctor on the CCU floor. She was then transfer to the 8th floor. The nurses up there are lazy and basically waiting for someone to die then help. My mother told me she had an asthma attack as soon as me and my dad left the hospital yesterday. She speak no English but understand the concept of the help button the the control. She press it many time and had to endure her asthma attack for almost 2 hours.
