My wife is a nurse at Utah Valley Hospital. She hand picked my surgeon. He is competent, caring and has excellent stats. DDT cook takes the time to explain things well and is a great listener. He is the best!
Dr. Cook was such a kind and pleasant person. He took the time to talk to me about my son's surgery and what to expect for recovery. He saved my son's life. I'm sure he does all the time with little thanks. I will forever be grateful.
Dr. Cook performed umbilical hernia surgery on me late February, 2018. At the time I met with him and his PA I felt confident I would be in good hands. The entire process of being checked in, doing the pre-surgery questions and prep, administration of anesthesia, et al, everything went very smoothly and remarkably fast. I went into the surgical room approximately 10 minutes after 6 and left the surgical center about 10:00 a.m.. I would hihgly recommend him for any surgical procedure

Generally, I like to give some feedback that would be useful for improvement. Everything was professional and well-organized. I got in and out for the pre-op; and today for the post-op so easily and quickly. All questions answered. Great!
Dr Cook is excellent and my surgery (gallbladder removal) took place with absolutely NO complications. I speak from experience as the son of a doctor, wife is a nurse, and I worked for 35 years at Baxter Healthcare, Inc (major supplier to hospitals). There were NO post surgery difficulties, and I was able to stop pain medicine 1 day after surgery. I was up and walking around the day after surgery. I was back to work two weeks post surgery. I would recommend Dr. Cook
Considering the serious nature of the surgery Dr. Cook and his professional staff made the difficult experience so very easy. I totally understood the procedure and the recovery process which helped to make a somewhat frightening experience more peaceful. Well done - I would gladly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone needing general surgery.
Professional experience, great outcome, scars have healed very nicely.
Dr. Cook and his staff were excellent in every way. They let you know what to expect and were very thorough in everything they did. I was never rushed. There wasn't a grumpy person among them. The triple hernia surgery went great and the pain was minimal.
