Company didn't live upto its word or reputation. Work wasn't finished and Work the was supposed to take 1 week, took 7 months and was still not completed. I was way over charged for the unprofessional job that was done. Now I have to hire someone else to finish the job that Tarheel Basement started. The job that I originally called them too do was never done and I was later told that they couldn't do it after all. There again, 7 months later. I needed my driveway cut to drain water. I made a contract with THB in May, and the work was supposed to start July. Well the guy showed and did not want to do the work. And he was on drugs. No problem, come another day. They finally showed at end of August and did the work. Constantly the plastic plate move, because of not setting a screws. They tried to fix it, but the work was not done properly. They did make an appointment for Saturday, but cancelled it to move the repair date two more months. The schedule stated 12/27/2... read more

The job was handled professionally from start to finish. Communication was excellent. Staff was pleasant, prompt, and accommodating. The crew (William, Keevan, and Ilia) was knowledgeable and efficient. I would definitely recommend them.

DonÂ’t waste your time using their services! Plenty of other companies that actually care about their customers. In 2016 we spent $35k installing a sump pump and encapsulating the crawl. Each year techs came out and inspected the work as required for the warranties. In 2020 our pump failed and it was two weeks before they could get a tech out to the house. When he did finally show the battery back up system had stopped working and caused water to appear on top of the liner. The tech refused to get in the crawl due to the wat... read more
Will never recommend this company. We had them level our house and encapsulated. The septic pipe came loose at some point and the sewage is under our encapsulation under our home and they wonÂ’t take responsibility for it. We had it all done a year and a half ago and they have never came out to reinspect or check pumps like they say. They had to come out several times to fix things when they first installed. I could go on and on. I would never recommend this company
The crew of Joshua Branford, Derrick Philson, and Brett Long were very courteous and professional. They worked well and were careful to clean up after completion. I had some additional poles installed to support the house. Only time will tell how well the support will hold. (I am very cautious, skeptical, and a bit of a worrywart by nature. So I worry about those things)
Absolutely horrible customer service! Made 4 separate appointments for warranty service this month and the company was a no show with no follow up, only got excuses on why they did not show up. When we asked to speak to management we were told they went home for the day. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NOT HIRE AGAIN. Absolutely unacceptable management practices and clueless in managing customer appointments and scheduling.
