One of the best coffee shops in Lexington. If your in town stop by and treat yourself.
Common Grounds used to be a special place, a place about and for the community. Now however, the owners have shown, time and time again, that they have a complete disregard and disrespect for the people who make it special, the employees. I will not step foot into Common Grounds until it is under a management that cares about their employees, and the community that they used to be such a large part of. The recent developments are disgusting, and disappointing.
This place was the reason I was excited for Monday. I could be with all my friends, and make so many new ones. Some of those friends are the workers there. They mean the world to me. Well, I had found out that they got fired for NO REASON. Also, they got half their paychecks taken from them because it was "tips." The owner is shady and stealing money from MY FRIENDS. I will not return until there is a new owner.

Common Grounds used to be one of my favorite places in Lexington. Open Mic nights were my favorite part of the week for the longest time. Now that I know how you treat your employees, I'll never step foot in this establishment again. Extremely disappointed and angry.

i found a home at this place and used to call it a sanctuary where i could see my friends and hear amazing music, but lately i have heard how poorly theyve been treating their employees who are just as much of my group of friends as everyone ive met there. im sorry to say i will NOT be returning which breaks my heart because this was my favourite place in lexington for a good chunk of the hardest times in my life.
