Came to Kentucky to see family & evacuate from Georgia during Irma. Heard about this shop & loved it as soon as we walked in. Came a second time before we left too! Super friendly staff & great drinks. Definitely coming again next visit!
Common Grounds is comfy, lots of choices, great music and an open mic night. No matter who you are, you'll feel at home there. Overstuffed couches and chairs plus an outside hangout. My kind of place. The people who serve treat you as if they've known you for years. Did I mention the coffee? Oh, man. Superb. ��
A friendly place rightly named, "Common Grounds," where friends, family, local businesses owners and burgeoning artists may take calm refuge during their busy days and nights. One of the best places in Lexington for a good time get together and I can say that honestly too since I've been a return customer for nearly 20 years.
No not my usual good experience there. I was disappointed by the drink, the barista should've told me how very very sweet it was. And the people working behind the bar had a family member or young person at the table who was spread all over the place doing homework and she was loud and somewhat annoying and bothersome to people in the room I should've moved but I wasn't there long enough to make it worthwhile but it made for not a very pleasant visit.
Great Coffee and sandwiches! Avacodo Toast with Tomato, Feta, and a fried egg on top! I highly recommend this place! Would definitely go back!
