This 1883 Victorian home, with its impressive white columns, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While Columns Hotel may not be the most modern of hotels, it is full of a charm that can only be found in the Big Easy. It was designed by Thomas Sully, a great architect of New Orleans. The hotel is also the only surviving building out of many that he designed.

Best mojitos Ever! Beautiful hotel And great service!
We stayed here and had a wonderful time - very romantic, beautiful room - ambiance oozing all over the place and friendly staff. We have been coming here a couple of years for drinks in the cozy bar - old wooden ornate bar with lots of character. Yesterday, we had a Ramos gin fizz (egg white fizzed up and heaped on like a delicious meringue) and the blood and sand (they used a blow torch to release the oils from the orange peel). This place is a must-do.
The Columns is a New Orleans tradition, a place that's a guarantee for fun with a great mixture of people of all ages.
Fantastic Hotel, the staff is a little preoccupied. What they are preoccupied with I don't know but sometimes that's a good thing.
Fun place to have an afternoon cocktail or tea break. Easy to think you are there and it is 1820.
