About this business
This 1883 Victorian home, with its impressive white columns, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While Columns Hotel may not be the most modern of hotels, it is full of a charm that can only be found in the Big Easy. It was designed by Thomas Sully, a great architect of New Orleans. The hotel is also the only surviving building out of many that he designed.

I was there for an afternoon "snack" with family. The front porch dining area was fabulous. I enjoyed the peppermint drink that was on the Holiday Menu board & we all shared the Parmesan French fries, Crabcake with fried green tomato that it was served on, & the Brie. Our waitress was the best & checked on us throughout the time we were there. WILL BE BACK!!!
We didn't stay here, but would have loved to. Had evening of drinks on the front porch listening to the live music spilling out gently from parlor inside with a streetcar passing through every so often, taking in the deliciously eclectic and appreciative guests. Service was attentive and pleasantly chill. Very unique, authentic, genuine. Def coming back. Made our last night in town so very special.
Best Ramos Gin Fizz!!! Great historic atmosphere in a lovely setting. Crabcake on fried green tomato with remoulade sauce is to die for! I can't imagine a trip to New Orleans without a visit to the Columns Hotel.
