RecommendedGreat airport to fly into/out of. I've been doing it for 20+ years. One thing to be aware of is that if you have gate checked bags and you need to pick them up then after you leave the jet then stand against the jetway wall OPPOSITE the jetway door. Many times the Flight Attendants will say stand to the right in the jetway and some folks exit the plane and stand on that wall. That is correct. Luggage scales really need to be checked I had to pay $25 my luggage was 1 lb over limit which is odd since I took stuff out and carried it on and it was only 1/2 lb over when I left home which they did NOT make me pay for so something is definitely wrong with this picture??
I flew home yesterday from a 4 day trip to manitou springs, co. I flew in/out of cos. It is a small airport, easy to navigate around. I really liked it!
Best airport I've ever been to!! Just wished Southwest flew through there and prices were cheaper!! No lines and so easy to navigate!!!
Airport is nice but I fly a lot and 1st time I was molested by TSA. Totally inappropriate and kinda sick. I am a 64 yr grandma and she touched me in between my legs 4 times. I fly out of different airports and not sure COS is for me. Shame TSA shame
I was there for work. Having never flown through there, it was a wonderful surprise as far as airports go. It's so easy to get jaded and not want to travel by air. COS airport restores my travel faith again.
One of the best airports I have been to. I love the smaller airports. I did as well get patted down and hand checked but no big deal. Very friendly. Can't wait to fly in again. I had a 2 hour wait so I went to the first restaurant and ate and they were very friendly. Don't know the name.
