My Dad had a drill bit in his salad. The owner can’t even come to my parents table to apologize?? My mom stopped by the owners office (Mr. Colby) on her way out and he told her that it wasn’t his job and that it was the managers to take care of. I’m furious that this happened to my parents and I’m lucky that my Dad saw it before he ingested it. Poor ownership.
Normally love Colby’s but not tonight! We had a house salad that had a drill bit mixed in!! Our server apologized but the owner, Mr. Colby, did not even apologize or visit our table. Another customer at another table said they had seen Mr. Colby walk thru holding a drill prior to our meal being served. I’m thankful that it was not ingested since it could have been a serious situation. As the owner of a business he obviously does not appreciate his customers and hides behind his server. Tonight Tom and I decided to search out the best steaks in Owensboro Ky. We read many reviews and ask around. We landed at Colby’s. The only thing that out shined the food was the service and I mean all the way to back of the house. This place is a gem in Owensboro.

Excellent food and service! First time I’ve ever been there. In town for the Owensboro city dog show. I don’t live far but had never been there till this week. Highly recommended!!!
We haven't been here in a while. And now I remember why. Going on 50 minutes and still no food. Table beside us got seated after and already got their salads and food. Service is terrible and slow. does no good to complain. Last time for our business here.
