I happened upon Filter and decided to go in after reading the Yelp Reviews. I am recent coffee drinker so I'm not exactly sure how to ask for my coffee. After talking to the barista about this, we figured out what would work best for me. I ordered a mocha with two shots of espresso. It was very smooth and enjoyable. Afterwards, we debriefed and thought about how the drink can be less chocolatey. I love how they took care of my needs and the patience they had with me. I will return again. It really took ten minutes to get an iced chai. When the barista finally got around to it, she opened the box poured it into a cup of ice then handed it to me. For that i wait ten minutes. If the place was crowded maybe i could understand. I did not enjoy the experience. I was the only Person of Color there.
Great coffee and atmosphere
Great flat whites, espresso pulls, and cold brew, plus friendly staff and convenient-yet-secluded location - all great!
Great coffee. Made my stay in DC much better! :-)
