Awesome!!!!! I have had 4 surgeries on my hips and this was the best ever. Dr. Ramsey is an excellent surgeon. His staff is wonderful. They are kind; and you are given a nurse navigator who you can call about questions. She is available mon. -fri. 8 to 5. If you leave a message she gets back to you in an hour. Dr Ramsey, his staff, and the staff at the Carolina Bone and Joint Replacement Center could not have made my second hip replacement operation and recovery any better. From the guidance material several weeks prior (both written and video) to the constant attention received the day of surgery and lastly the availability of staff to answer questions, this is a top shelf operation (no pun intended).
Dr. Ramsey performed a right hip replacement on me in 2011, and just completed a hip replacement on my left hip in 2021. Both procedures resulted in immediate improvement in my ability to walk and, therefore, in my quality of life. The right hip even survived a direct hit from an SUV when a women ran me down in a crosswalk 5 years ago...and Dr. Ramsey coordinated my care with regard to other orthopedic injuries suffered in this accident. Dr. Ramsey performed my knee replacement August 2021 He is an excellent doctor, very nice to deal with very personable and caring. He will definitely be performing my next knee replacement.
Dr Ramsey gave me the incentive to lose weight so I can begin thinking about hip replacement surgery. Had my right hip done 8/27 and feel amazing. Waiting for an appointment to get the left hip completed. Dr Ramsey and staff made me feel comfortable through the whole day of surgery. I am so glad I found this team. I highly recommend Dr Ramsey.
Excellent doctor and staff
I had my left Hip replacement surgery done by Dr Ramsey. He answered all my questions. Explained everything about what to expect. Was never in a rush. His bedside manor is very comforting. I will be going back to have him replace my Right hip in a month or so.
I had an anterior hip replacement three weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Ramsey and his staff were always prompt and friendly.
