Im with all the below. These guys are scammers. Completely shady people. No Bueno. Dodge 'em ... no good.
Billing department is the worst incompetent, unethical ! No communication. They send you to collections for procedures that are covered under affordable health care act because they are incompetent! They will not communicate with the patient. Warning , Unethical medical billing , shameful practices! Avoid using them.
Service was fine. Billing was a nightmare. We were paying them as we could, and then they locked our account and sent us to collections. We told them we would pay in full within 2 weeks and they told me that they would take us off collections. We paid them in full on December 6th and we just got a collections letter again on the 20th. This all could have been avoided with some proactive customer service and starting a payment plan instead of just sending us to collections. Because they coded my claim wrong, my insurance denied the claim, I sent letters, no response received, now I just received a collection letter. REALLY?? Never again!
I was pleased with the hospital experience and everything was fine until the billing started. Borland Groover, Flagler Hospital and Coastal Anesthesiology sent statements and all were paid in full. Then I get another statement from Coastal Anesthesiology for another $487.00 after a zero balance from my insurance company, tried to call and see what was going on but after staying on hold I eventually left message for them to call me with no return call.
