Clean, pleasant, convenient, roomy and reasonable, a real bargain in every way!
The location is 15 minutes from downtown Salem. The management and staff are wonderful, helpful, and always trying to create a stress free and friendly environment. The rooms are large, warm, and clean. One of the best motels I have ever stayed at. The price is competitive and well worth it. You won't be disappointed.
We're from Boston. We love Salem and the entire history of it. We will be back very shortly. See you soon. We enjoyed our stay here.
I just wanted to let people know that if they are thinking about staying in Salem, MA they should consider staying at the Clipper Ship Inn. Lovely motel off the beaten track. Room was huge and clean as a whistle. Lovely shaded front lawn with picnic tables where I enjoyed my morning coffee--a peaceful way to start the day. Took cabs everywhere and avoided the downtown gridlock, $20 parking fee and the need to drive around looking for a parking spot. Great innkeepers and their recommendations for dining and sightseeing were perfect.
Very clean and comfortable and friendly.
This is the second time I have been to the Clipper Ship Inn. I enjoy the people and Salem the cat. I find they are always helpful when you information. They even gave us great ideas for dinner. The rooms are clean and they do clean it everyday. I would go back next year for sure!!!
Stayed at the Clipper Ship Inn late February. Really enjoyed my stay. Recommended Salem as our family reunion destination for 2015. We are all planning on staying at the Clipper Ship Inn of course!
