We went to this place for my birthday recently and I had been there one time before and I am not dis-pleased. The service is very good, they are very patient with people that have babies with them (my nephew is 1 1/2) and they brought bread & butter and sippy cups and a variety of other things without any sense they were put off by it. WORST SERVICE EVER
Love the food presentation which trigger me to visit your resto the soonest.
Best place and really like it.
The atmosphere is king here- you might have a hard time believing that you just walked off sunset blvd next to the 99 cent store and are suddenly in a secluded tropical forest paradise. I like the brunch and dinner food here, which has a gourmet vibe, but it's a bit pricey.
Sorry, nice place but, – I have to agree with most the ambiance and garden décor are really nice, but alas the food is lacking for the cost. It’s a real shame as we can afford to eat out most of the time and it’s not to far for us. Will keep an eye on the reviews for improvements.
Unexpectedly great fish – I was blown away recently by a trout dish here. Expertly prepared and very tasty. I would have paid $40 for it at some fancier place in Beverly Hills. I usually come here for brunch but will come back for dinner when I can. Nice cocktail menu, too. A great date place with a fantastic patio that is good even in te winter with the heat lamos going.
bad customer service on the phone – This place looked good from the reviews. Called to ask a couple of questions about having a big dinner 20-30 people. Guy on the phone was impatient, extremely unhelpful - he couldn't even give me a range of how much a set menu would be - even after I told him that I did in fact have the menu on their website up on my computer and wanted to ask about some menu options. Outdoor Dining – I'd make the argument Silverlake has the best outdoor dining in LA between Cliff's Edge, Cafe Stella and Speranza. Stella and Speranza have better food in my mind, but you can't beat the ambiance of Cliff's patio. Get a group table beneath the patio's centerpiece tree for any special occasion and you can't help but set the night in the right direction.
