My nephew, niece, & myself went looking at Clayton's on Clinton Hwy. in Knoxville Tn in March of 2020. We found the home Kennasaw & put down $1000.00 deposit. Chris is the salesman we are working with from the beginning. We were told we should have our home by December of 2020 with the customized features we wanted. We have Our land & the loan has been approved for a while now. We feel we have been mistreated to and lied to by Clayton Homes. They have been doing very unethical business practices. We had come to terms and put money down for a home in September of 2020, and were originally told it was a wait list of 6 weeks. We were also expected to pay for the home in full a couple of weeks after the agreement for the home. So we did what they asked and paid them in full. Since then our home was pushed back to November. I want to thank Jody Bevins and his staff at Owensboro Ky store they were able to make our dreams come true during a very difficult Time in this world during this COVID pandemic since their was a lot of delays that was out of his control.

I was all signed up when i find out the land in which we purchased as a package deal was TOO SMALL!! So this is MY FAULT??? I BACKED OUT OF THE DEAL. THEY STOLE OVER HALF OF MY MONEY. I PUT DOWN 3,800. GOT BACK 1,500.00. THEY WILL STEAL AND LIE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JERKS.

I have had an absolute terrible experience with this home. Since it was brought out three years ago there has been nothing but small repairs needed and are only getting worse. Tried asking for repairs to be made they were very sloppy and didn't really fix any problems. Terrible homes terrible customer service, and would not recommend them to anyone. If I could go back is sell them their house back.

I had nothing but problems and delays. There was no set schedule on when things would get done. I had to continuously call/text the sales person to find out if anyone was coming out throughout the process, which started in January and wasn't completed until September. Additionally I was misinformed regarding my loan options. I have had several issues, nails backing out and tearing the linoleum, air coming through windows and walls, and a wall not attached to the ceiling to name a few, since moving in. Bought new home 2020 and paid in full. Used Terry **** Homes in Lumberton. Big mistake. They are liars. Home came with no heat and air. Roof leaked, outlets don't work, holes in plumbing, big hole in top of roof where plywood does not come all the way to top of home, would not bring all my supplies which were supposed to be in home when delivered, tub has a small busted place, tile has cuts in it, had to repair all showers so we could use them, hoses crimped. When I first looked into buying a home and found the Mobile Home Guys, I thought they looked like a warm yet professional group that would be great to do business with. This was our first home and we wanted a quality experience we could look back on. We found a home we loved, Brandon was nice, and we started discussions. I had no delusions of what I was getting when I chose not to "stick build" a home. The manufactured home I purchased has good curb appeal and the inside really is nice at first glance. Unfortunately, it has been all the other nuances of the home that has made this a regrettable experience. In the few years I've been in the home I've had to contact a plumber regularly.
