My experience with Dr. Talbert was wonderful very professional and sympathetic. I had fallen on concrete sidewalk on my left knee and broke my femur bone at the knee. I was taken to Grandview Hospital where Dr. Talbert performed surgery and inserted a metal rod from my hip to my knee. Dr. Talbert would visit me every day to check on me. The most wonderful and professional Dr. that I have ever met. I have had no problems with the knee after surgery. Thank You Dr. Talbert.
Dr Talbert replaced both of my hip (was asking for another one ??) two years ago. I am skiing right now. What else?
He is a wonderful doctor !! He has treated most of my family!!
I felt like I (the patient) was treated like an old car, my husband the owner of the old car and the DR. was going to be the mechanic. No options other than the most major surgery (fusion) I think. He said if I were in a wheel chair I wouldn't "last" for more two years. He seemed to get off on showing us all the hardware he would use. When we left there I was not only scared, but very depressed also. Thank goodness there are other surgeons who did not agree with him. What a waste of time.
