I joined but never used my membership and decided to cancel my wife's and mine. I did mine online with the company, and their website said that for the cancelation to be validated, a letter of cancelation must also be sent to their corporate office, which I also did. They are still charging my credit card. A few weeks ago, I was forced to pay my wife's membership again by phone to be able to cancel her membership. The level of dishonesty at this club is dis-heartening. During a sales transaction for personal training, I was told that they do not offer 6 months but if I signed for 1 year. I explained to her that we would be moving and she said, I would be able to cancel if I moved somewhere that does not have an LA Fitness. In April, I spoke to the club because I was moving to another state and unfortunately, the lady who sold me the package was no longer there.
