Today my friend gym membership was revoked because they assumed he was a trainer. No warning about working out with your **************** He never solicit any one to workout with him for free or money .. he is a gym junkie 2hr a Day five days a week @8 am for 6 years. I'm sharing a horrible experience I've had with this gym @ Cundles in ******, ******* and am still going through. I signed up for a 6 month personal training commitment back in September of 2020 for a 6 month term. Covid happens and the gym is no longer able to operate as of December 25th 2021 . I get a email message in July 2021 saying the gym is reopening and at this point am living somewhere else until the fall. I have been a member since March 2021. I also signed up for personal training in April 2021. On September 9th 2021 I injured my knee. I havent been able to work due to the fact that I am on crutches at least 90% of my walking time. In October 2021, he still didnt clear me to workout from another 6 weeks. I was told all I had to do was provide proof of the information of me not having clearance and my diagnosis which is plica syndrome. Im a member at LA Fitness Silver Spring ******** club. I enjoy using the basketball court when I come to the gym. The basketball court has had several floor issues and has never been addressed. It seems that quick patch work has been done every time the floor has been said to be fixed. Also, would like to add that before the court was closed for several months and was told that the court was going to be fixed. I feel as if the gym should no urgency for members who enjoy using the basketball court. I am extremely disappointed... read more

The Esporta formerly known as LA Fitness on ***** Road has had a malfuntioning air conditioner in the fitness spin room for several months now. No one seems to know when the problem will be fixed and have not offered any solution to the members suffering through extremely hot conditions during spin classes. The instructor and one of the members paid out of their own pockets for fans to help with the unbearable heat. Tons of hidden fees, the most convoluted membership cancellation policy, awful amenities, useless staff, broken equipment, terrible maintenance and cleaning. The are purely salesmen; i felt pressured into signing a personal training contract, as they showed off the fact that they are exercise physiologist. But the 1st time I trained, it was not even the trainer I was supposed to be with and the workout I did I could have thought of myself. Then the same trainer was never available. I signed up to be a member of la fitness in August of 2021. At that time I did not get charged for the annual membership fee. Now 2 months later, I was charged for the membership fee annually. When I talked the the service membership manager, they explained that all the agreements that I signed in the beginning, one of it was the agreement that I will have to pay annually.
