I signed up for a personal training contract and was ensured by their sales rep that it is month to month, and I can cancel if it is not the right move for me. The contract allows 3 days to cancel, yet the sales rep assigned me to a trainer that was not available for 3 weeks after signing up; therefore, I could not evaluate. Horrible cancellation policy. Deceptive business practices. You should allow customers to cancel by phone, text, email. Having a customer come to the gym to cancel a plan if there is no contract is very shady. You can confirm identity by last 4 digits of card used last 4 of license #, last ssn# etc by phone. Never again!
