We were in Venice Beach and were shocked by the number of needles lying around on the beaches where we wanted our kids to play, but it just wasn’t safe. Your boardwalk is littered with homeless. It was disgusting. We packed up and left. Yikes!

RecommendedElectric scooters should be banned in our city! People who ride those things creating lots of mess everywhere, scooters also being left beeping at night on the streets. Since City of LA in September started cleaning homeless people encampments, so bums started moving to Santa Monica, this is a serious problem it makes SM look bad and unsafe, somebody really have to remove those homeless from Santa Monica.
Hello, it appears someone has destroyed the big climbing ropes at Muscle Beach. It appears someone has been chopping them with a knife. Please, continue encouraging people to exercise and replace the ropes. Thank you.

City of santa Monica doesn't care about you or your safety. You think they're banning scotters? No, it seems they're attempting to cut out Bird only to ine their pockets with money from Bird competitors.
Listen to ALL the citizenry, not just those with money.
Those ride share scooters are a hazard! im visiting from Australia and the first encounter I had of these were them strewn all over the sidewalks and obstructing my way. Then driving around Santa Monica, these scooter riders have a blatant disregard for their own safety and the safety of others. Driving in the road in hectic traffic, no helmet, no care, no signals and at dangerous speeds! This is disgusting. As a tourist, I am deeply disappointed in this iconic city.
