The city leaders should face criminal charges for how they've senselessly made it their mission to destroy their fantastic airport.
The City of Santa Monica officials are a bunch of crooks! Closing the Santa Monica airport is ridiculous! The airport is of historical nature and has a huge impact in the southern california region. Without general aviation airports there is no flight training which means there is no pilots to fly for the airlines. Once an airport is gone it doesnt come back! People can move to other places if they dont like the airport! I support airports!
