I grew up here. And now the city basically extorts people and milks them of income any way they can. $53 for a parking ticket for backing my car into a parking spot... That's outrageous. Has nothing to do with safety, it's just revenue and a way for them to milk money out of citizens. $53 is almost an entire day's work if you get paid minimum wage, and these guys want to fine a person that much for occupying the space they paid for the way they please? Are you joking?

The most disgusting city I've ever work in. First of they have no common sense . The council of Sana Monica forcing us against our will that we have to constantly listen non stop to annoying performers. This city council has the most ignorant people . I hope they contact me . I have headaches everyday ,stomachache and anxiety.
