It is a strange city. Apparently one must actually sue the City in a court to have them fix a self-verified mistake they made. Inefficiency in any government usually just means more corruption than normal. #parkingticket scam.

Driving and parking needs, and in a city like Santa Monica, deserves, a smart, creative review and a progressive 21st century people-friendly revamp. But the city relies too much on revenue from fines to change their regressive system. It creates so much ill will. I think santa monica would burst with business opportunity and creativity if it would let people freely move about here.
