Absolutely delicious! Best burger I have ever had 😋 and I'm not really a burger person! Sweet potato fries are amazing as well. Service was awesome 🙂 I would highly recommend!
Good appetizers and drafts. Service not bad but maybe due to being busy. Burgers over cooked. But great combinations.
We are from out of town so I’m not sure we will be back, but that was by far the best burger I’ve ever had. Any plans to open one in Hampton Roads? Pretty please? 😉😇
Should have been a five star review. Service sitting at the bar was patient with questions, attentive, and friendly. Food was timely and delicious. Overall, excellent. We ordered a Mushroom & Swiss burger to go before we got ready to leave and it took almost 45 minutes. Not sure why it took so long. It wasn’t as busy as when we were seated. Bar staff had time to catch up on prep work for fry containers, etc. and kitchen was a long way from in the weeds. Look, it’s good tasting food but today wasn’t their best day apparently. Waiting on drinks, waiting on food, but looked like plenty of staff was on hand... not sure as to what the issue was but service definitely could’ve been better but hey I do believe if the service would’ve been more helpful and attentive it would’ve been a solid outing. Very limited choices on the menu.
My family and I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the freshness of the food and the service.
Food was good. Fries were delicious. "Sweet tea" could use a LOT more "sweet" but that's the only complaint

As we get ready to move away from Charlotteville, I think Citizen Burger will be one of the things we miss the most. The onion rings are amazing, the beer selection is excellent, and the burgers will not leave you wishing they were bigger. I would've typed this sooner, but I was recovering from the food coma.
