The sweet potato fries and the steakhouse burger was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was extremely different, it was great! Impressive menu that includes vegan options, and a Turkey burger (my choice 80% of the time)

First time in downtown Charlottesville. Googled “Best burger in Charlottesville”. Arrived at 2pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. Party of one, ate at bar. Awesome service, GREAT burgers, and the onion rings? I’d almost drive the 3 hours just for the rings. The icing on the cake was the thick, linen style napkin. Great vibe and attention to detail.
We (my husband and 4 children under 12) stopped in on a whim during a road trip this week. Despite my 6 year old protesting that he did not want a burger, we all had a fantastic meal. The service was friendly and accommodating. The DAR paleo salad was the PRRFECT meal. Kids loved everything they ordered as did we. It’s a new family favorite and we will definitely be returning.
This place is amazing! Perfect burger and toppings, and fantastic fries as well. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the area.
We’ve dined with our 10 month old daughter today since it was a nice day to sit outside. Shortly after we’ve put in our order, our little one’s diaper needed to be changed. I took our changing pad, diaper and wet wipes to the restroom and realized there were no diaper changing station. There were no counter space either. So I’ve walked back out and noticed there were small chairs to the side up front. No words to describe the #1 grilled cheese with garlic aioli & arugula.
Great server, great atmosphere and drinks, burgers a tad over cooked and lettuce wrapped burger wasn’t as easy to eat as Five Guys lettuce wrapped burgers.
