This may have been the best burger I ever had outside of my house!

Service and food was excellent
Great burger. Excellent Starr Hill beer. Fried pickle? It’s really just a hot pickle with a sleeve of batter that slides right off. It’s not a thing.

It’s amazing. Every summer we drive 15 hours to visit our daughter and this is one of our traditional stops while in town.
My husband, son and I were recently in Charlottesville and ate at Citizen Burger, and I ate the best burger I've ever had. The service was fast despite them being busy. We ate outside and the atmosphere was really fun with street performers near by. My only regret is that we don't live close so I can't eat there more often.
