We were visiting the area for the weekend and checked this place out after a local recommended it to us and it did not disappoint. The burger and fries were delicious. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Sadly, I have a metal condition and can’t eat beef, pork or diary but Citizens Burger Bar still had great options even for me!! Best Turkey burger w/vegan cheese, fried egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickle on fresh homemade brioche bun I’ve ever eaten!! Oh and the sweet potato fries w/ citizens sauce was stellar as well. ❤️

Charred burnt exterior. The Inside had raw spots. The burger tasted awful. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress was very pleasant. Cost for dinner $40 plus gratuity.

Had to wait 15 mins. for a seating...no biggie. Was surprised by the bill at the end. Expected it to be steep ($65 for 4 craft burgers. NN in Tappahannock is better!!!) for burgers and it was, but my sister asked for some blue cheese dressing which came in a small cup container, like mustard or ketchup, and was charged $0.50. Really?!
