It was our first time eating at your restaurant and it was just okay for us. My husband's burger was pink and it was soggy on the bun so he didn't finish it. Also when we got our food the server insisted the orders were handed out to the right person which they were all over the place to the wrong person. We ended up switching up the burgers and sides with each other. We pride ourselves on offering fantastic food with GREAT service to match, and I'm sorry we failed to show you that on your first visit. We never "auction" off food when taking it to the table, and I apologize that it was presented that way. We do keep a close eye on the length of facial hair of our kitchen staff, and we haven't had any issues with hair in food or health code related issues. Traveling through on our way back home to West Virginia, we ran across Citizen Burger Bar. My husband and I found our burgers, as well as our generous helpings of french fries and sweet potato fries, to be outstanding. We love the use of local ingredients and the rustic industrial decor was on point. The only thing we would change would be the friendliness of the staff - that "we're glad to have you here" vibe. Wasn't slammed when I went so service was good and food was prompt. Everything tastes good so no complaints!
It was a busy night we had about a 20 minute wait and the service and food were great.
Burgers cooked to to perfection. My son and his friend had grilled cheese and said they were the best ones they ever had in a restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Did not have adult beverages but if they care the same about those as they do for the food I am sure those would be great too.
Dined there last night. Waitress asked my fiancé asked if she wanted fries, sweet potato fries or a salad as a side. Waitress told us there was no extra cost for sweet potato fries, so that's what my fiancé ordered. When we got our check, $4 was added for the sweet potato fries, which threw us off. I ordered a grilled cheese and it was TINY. Resembled something I'd find on a kids menu. Most likely, won't ever go back.
