We have been with Cincinnati Children's Hospital For 25 years now. I'M not going to say that it has always been great. It hasn't . There are doctors there that we absolutely cherish as well as doctors that I wouldn't want within touching distance of my child.I won't give names because my feelings are based on MY experience with them. I had a great experience with the Mason CHMC Urgent Care. I made an appointment online. I arrived before my appointment time and every step was smooth from registration to going to the back to see doctor. The wait was not long at all. The registar Robin was awesome and very friendly! I Love CHMC!!!

I am from Cleveland and was visiting family with my 6 month old over this past weekend when he came down sick. I took him to the Cincinnati Children's Urgent Care Center in Anderson and was really impressed with the ease of making the appointment, how promptly they took us in, and how wonderful the staff was. Quite honestly - I always thought that Cleveland Clinic was the best seeming as though that is what we always frequent back home...but I was more happy with my experience Children's. My daughter sees a few specialists at CCHMC but our favorite by far is Dr. Christopher Siracusa in pulmonology! He is attentive, answers all my questions, and has really gotten to know my daughter. Worth the 2 & 1/2 hour drive for sure!!!
I think the staff is wonderful don't get me wrong they were awesome but their billing is ridiculous I went for a hearing test for my son which was referred by his doctor I received my bill every thing went to my deductible even though a hearing test is covered at 100 %by indurance because anything you get done at children's is considered hospital outpatient when I contacted billing they told there was nothing they could do plus there was a diagnosis on the EOB when the test was not even ran
Sat in waiting room for 1 hour to be called back to the triage room for them to ask what's wrong with my 15 month old son and he tells me "you'll be called back soon" but yet I sat there for another hour and a half and they were calling people that checked in after me to get them a room. My son has been spiking a fever of 102.8 for a week straight with a burning body, an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection. I WILL NOT be going back there. Worst service ever.
My son was diagnosed here when nobody else could figure out what was wrong with him. Love Cincinnati children's! They are amazing and I would highly recommend them to everyone!
I can't say enough positive things about the Neurology Department! Thank you for the care and compassion we feel when we come in for visits!
