My observation is this hospital is well staffed & the facility functions quite well. I have been an observer of many hospitals across the nation. I have always felt practitioners to be fairly consistent. To me the negatives in facilities has most to do with operation management & owners! stakeholders.
Cincinnati Children's hospital IS THE WORST! The only thing they good for is the surgeries OTHER THAN THAT THEY SUCK! Can’t wait till my daughter get her surgery because WE LEAVING AS SOOOOOOON AS WE CAN!
Our local hospital in Indiana set up our appointment for our son who had to have a consultation with a pediatric hand surgeon because he was born with an extra thumb. We got there and when the doctor came in he said “ you will have to schedule a consultation with a hand specialist” which is what we were supposed to be there for. A 5 minute meeting to say sorry you wasted your time. A 2 hour drive one way and a 300+ dollar bill after insurance. All for 5 minutes of sorry. Can’t ever get ahold of the billing department because... read more
My daughter’s first spine surgery was great!
I was a patient there in 1960, at 4 years old, where I had surgery for an atrial septal defect, and had a real physical every year until I was 18. I remember positive experiences there.
There has not been one employee I have seen who does not go above and beyond to show compassion and kindness. From the custodians, to the concierge team, to the scheduling office, administrative assistants, amazing nurses, and phenomenal doctors. These teams work together and listen to all of your concerns and questions. They will explain things so that you can make the most informed decisions about your child’s care. We are very thankful for the doctors here who have shown compassion and sought answers when others in our ow... read more
I love Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.. we have discussed gifts for the nurses but honestly, I wish we could just buy ever staff member a Caribbean vacation. I'm sure they love Bentley because she's the cutest little redhead baby on the planet, but the love they give her is amazing. I've never been one to be obsessive over anything, until she came along and I'm probably more bossy, direct, and maybe sometimes mean- these people just listen to me and act like I am the one who should make the decisions anyway. I... read more
It’s just great all around
how about when I decided to leave against the doctors wishes and they called CPS in. All they did was walk in and tell me one thing and that they would come back with an answer and never return. oh and a dozen different doctors and me repeatedly having to tell them the same story gets old after being up all night. The nurses/doctors would come in after I got my 1 year old to settled down and sleeping just to wake him up. His oxygen was low due to a virus and they wanted to treat me like an idiot. Yeah I'll pass. I will avoid... read more
