Simply Superb – We are regulars here and have always recieved great care and attention from the staff and management. No request is too hard and we are always made to feel special by Bill and his team.

Awesome Restaurant – Well, Taste the food to believe it. I don't agree with offensive reviews by DDev or others. Prime location of Bellevue DownTown. Ample parking space and no chaos to driveto this place. Close to Microsoft, Major offices in Bellevue ,Seattle Downtown. I405, 520 is round the corner. BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD – There's a reason why there are so many negative reviews of this restaurant....it sucks. Although the food is average, the service and staff are horrible! The staff are arrogant and ill mannered. There are several other indian restaurants with better food and far, far, far better service...don't waste your time and money at chutneys.

Finally, when server arrived, asks simply what we want to order (no request for drinks, even though we were intending to order wine). Noticed the host going around all night visiting other tables and ignoring ours (assume it's because we're Indian and he feels he doesn't need to make the effort). Below aveage food; terrible & rude service – We waited for 10 minutes (on a not so busy night) before they seated us. The server came late - did us a favor by taking our order. We complained to manager - he appeared to listed and then we heard him smirk on his way back. Food came after about 35 minutes - lukewarm and tasteless - appeared to have been reheated in the microwave. We left a poor tip and got the third degree. WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN
Never appreciated Indian food until now! – I've had Indian food in the past, but I never enjoyed it that much. Not until I visited Chutneys in Bellevue! I never liked lamb, but the owner/manager was so great in making recommendations that I tried their homemade cheese fried appetizer to lamb to the vindaloo dishes. I've been eating their every week now. I constantly have craving for their dishes! Their drinks are great, too! I personally like the gin and tonic.
Terrible Service OK Food – In our experience, the food was strictly OK. No one came to our table with water after the first 30 mins. No one came to take the order for another 30 mins. The food didnt come for 45 mins - 1 hour. And food wasnt anything special. When we expressed our concern - The owner and staff were very unhelpful. Instead of being apologetic, they were rude.
