Great service – Wonderful service and food ,had a wonderful time here .The manager Gen took great care of us and made us feel special. We were a big group on a weekend yet we were given all the attantion and treatment you would get in a five star restaurant. The food was lovely too.Just right as far as the spice was concerned.

Fancy name not worth a second visit! – I went for lunch with some colleagues and ordered a few appetizers before deciding on our entrees. They did arrive on time but were more greasy and bland than my 27-yr old Indian palate could accept! I refused to order lunch and just waited until my friends finished. I even spoke to the manager about how nearly-inedible the "mirchi" (our appetizer) was and he said, "Really? I just had a few of those in the kitchen and they were really good!" What a thumping endorsement of ineptitude!

Worst Service. Period. – On October 29, 2008 we went to Chutney's in Bellevue to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were a party of 7 including 2 kids. There was one waiter at the time and it took around 10 minutes to get us a table (the restaurant was half-empty). Next it took us another 20 minutes to get the waiter's attention to put our order. Have you ever been to a restaurant where the waiter(s) are SO busy that you've to wave your hands and do other antics to get their attention ? That's exactly what we had to do. The fo... read more

Worst service and food – I travel alot and been to indian restaurants over the US... Yesterday I was looking for somewhere I can have a good veg. meal therefore figured I would try an indian. Got there a little before closing and the service was rude and the food was not worth it. I was looking for a nice quality place and this was not the one. Would not recommend... try somewhere else.

Horrible is right - both in service and food – I must agree with the last two reviewers - this place is horrible and not worth your money. For the lunch buffet today, I waited 10 minutes to be seated. Then as a single diner was completely ignored by the older gentleman who seemed to be the head waiter. I had to ask THREE times for naan, while the table of men next to me who sat down after I did were give their's promptly. Literrally, 20 minutes after I sat down - I finally got a basket. The food, oh, where do I begin. All ch... read more

Bottom line: HORRIBLE. – So, you walk in and have to stand there for awhile before you even get seated. We watched the staff hang out and talk in the corner for 5 mins before anyone came over to seat us. (the room at that point only had 2-3 tables full) No apology and the guy who sat us had the worst B.O. (NOT very appetizing) Then we wait even longer to get our order taken by our waiter. My particular meal I ordered Medium (3 stars). Our meal finally came after 30mins or so and mine was SO hot I could barely eat it. I like ... read more

Not worth your money!! – I didn't wanted to go to Chutney of Bellevue after my horrible experience at Chuttney of Seattle but for my friend, I had to go. They have a good bar and we ordered Tandoori platter, taste was amazing but it had only six piece of meat in it. I ordered chicken biryani, it hardly had any chicken in it and the worst part, rice was tossed in red tomato sauce. Now cmon, since when biryani is cooked in tomato sauce??? and it was a sweet tomato sauce. My advice, stick to appetizers and drinks, NEVER ever go... read more

Worst Service, High Price, Average Food – I got to say that this one of the priciest Indian restaurants I have been too and I have been to some pretty pricey ones in LA. For the price, the service and food are not worth it at all. I would rate the food average or slightly below average. My biggest complaint is it has THE worst service. I ordered spicy food and ended up drinking all my water and when I asked for more they did not bring it until about 10 mins later (and there were less than 10 customers at that point). I was a... read more

Never again!!! – I went there for dinner. The food was poor. The appetizer I had was Bombay Tikki, which was quite good, but everything else I ordered was quite poor, except for the naan which was fine. The service was abysmal; it was almost impossible to get the attention of the waiter, even though there were only two other tables occupied while I was eating. At one point had to ask for the same thing twice as the waiter forgot to bring what I asked for. At some point during my meal, a different waiter started serving me, f... read more
