I went to Dr. Meredith to replace my IUD which was implanted by a different doctor. The insertion by the other doctor was easy and tolerable so I had no worries about getting it replaced. Upon meeting, there was no real greeting or conversation about the procedure or what to expect. She removed the IUD, no countdown to removal, no coaching to take a deep breath.
