I would recommend Dr. Canova very highly because he runs a highly efficient modern organization, practices the latest surgical techniques and guides you through the process from beginning to end

After seeing the results of my husband's knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Cannova, I knew I wanted him to do my hip replacement. Two weeks out from that surgery I could not be more pleased. He does excellent work and is so well respected among his peers as I found out during my hospital stay. He is easy to talk to and takes time to hear you out and answer your questions. I look forward to having him replace my other hip in a few months.
It is rare to find a doctor specializing in any area where after just two minutes, one has such total confidence as I have had with Dr. Cannova. And every visit, I am more and more impressed by his knowledge, decision-making ability and his ability to communicate all to the patient while still being efficient. The staff are all professional as well. Now, if they could only find a way to have less of a wait in the waiting room.... :-)
He is not responsive to phone calls and does not properly review the risks prior to surgery. His office demeanor is friendly. Results of surgery he performed have not been good. The likely reason is that placement of the device during total knee replacement surgery was not done precisely correctly.
Great doctor! I was totally satisfied with my total hip replacement. Recovery has been uneventful and much faster than I'd anticipated. Partners seamlessly with hospital staff at Suburban for an overall excellent result.
