Dr. Cannova handled my TKR 9 months ago, and I have been very pleased with my experience. I’m still going through the rebuilding & recovery process, but I had no negative issues at all. In fact, I feel fortunate to have chosen him as my Surgeon. I’d always been told by orthopedic doctors that joint replacement Surgeons who do high volume have better statistical results. Dr. Cannova performed a knee replacement in 2020. I told him the knee didn't feel right. The new knee was clicking, giving out, locking. He said 'Your body's getting used to the new knee.' He kept telling me this until it was too late for me to do anything (sue). The pain became unbearable & when I called to talk to the dr about it, the admin said 'He doesn't accept your insurance, go find another dr.' I went to 2 drs & both said that's un3thic@l. Above all he answered the question that the last two orthopedist couldn't AND I didn't even have to ask it! I love my new new knee, installation flawless.
Dr. Cannova is both patient with the patient & knowledgeable with the unknowledgeable. I look forward to him cutting me open.
