Dr. C is very business like. He answered all our questions and explained what the procedure was going to be like. I had a very good experience with my hip replacement.
My experience with Dr. Cannova and his caring and professional staff with both total knee replacements has been positive. My pre-op, surgical, and post op care exceeded my expectations and I would recommend him and his practice, and Suburban Hospital to anyone needing a knee replacement.
I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Cannova to friends & family I have been singing his praises since dismissal from hospital; and actually have recommended him strongly to my Home Care Physical Therapist. He is in need of a knee. Excellent communication, thorough preparation of the patient for the event, and genuine enthusiasm for the patient's well-being & progress during the recovery/healing phase, lend valuable texture to the profile of this highly skilled and dedicated surgeon.
This is my second experience with Dr. Cannova. He is an outstanding surgeon and my outcomes have been better than anticipated. He listens to his patients and partners with them to provide the best care. I recommend him highly.

Dr Cannova is a skilled, knowledgeable surgeon. He exudes confidence and is a good listener. He just performed a left hip replacement on me two weeks ago, and I am already walking well without use of a cane or walker. His staff is responsive to questions and concerns, and also very efficient.
Last year (2016), Dr. Cannova made a total knee replacement on me (Custom made, ConforMIS knee). From what I have read about him and watched some online videos of his surgeries, I new that he was my Best Choice! Dr. Cannova is a fantastic surgeon, informative, and caring during pre- and post-surgery periods. His office is neatly organize with caring and attentive staff. I am very pleased with the surgery and the end results. I am very grateful to Dr. Cannova and highly recommend him.
Great result in hip replacement surgery. Recovery was easier than projected. Fairly responsive office staff.
Dr. Cannova and his team are all very professional, courteous and caring. You feel like you are a person, not just a patient. They will take excellent care of you before, during, and after your procedure.
