I recommend the Threesome.
I grew up in Lincoln eating burgers and hot dogs at the Dairyland Drive Inn owned by George Gavatis. The sauce at Chris z’s is the sauce I grew up on. I just heard about this place yesterday and tried it today. I verified that the sauce is the same. Owner was not there but cashier filled me in on story. I ordered a hamburger all the way. The Z Dog is delicious cut open and grilled to get that smoky grilled flavor. Everything was made fresh. It was quick and very good. Will come back again.
Best breakfast in Birmingham! From the sandwiches, to the omelette, to the platters - you can’t go wrong!

This place has amazing food and the staff is awesome as well!
I went there today for the first time! My friends kept telling me how good the food is and they were not wrong!! The food is GREAT!! I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted the hot dog or a burger, so I got The Threesome (burger, hot dog, and bacon/cheese fries). Delicious!! The burger was moist and flavorful, the hot dog was really good and the fries were like home made. And the staff was very friendly! If you haven't gone to Chris Z's, I suggest you go. They also serve breakfast.
