Since our inception in 1995, Alex Plotkin's Chops Restaurant + Bar has strived to redefine the modern American steakhouse in the Philadelphia region by pushing the envelope of culinary creativity. Our new location at the landmark Comcast Center offers a menu that is marked by signature dishes featuring USDA prime grade butchered cuts of beef, the freshest catch of fish and seafood, seasonal and local ingredients, and a selection of eclectic specials prepared by our chefs on a daily basis.

The filet was probably one of the best I've had. Dessert was decadent. Server was attentive but a little slow. Cocktails were overpriced.
My husband and I went tonight to celebrate his birthday. We had excellent service and our waiter Robert provided us with a great dining experience. Great food, nice atmosphere, and superior service! We loved it!
Great customer service, food was terrific. I had one of the best steaks I've ever had. My only issue was there was no valet parking and the parking lot was not convenient unless the weather permits. Unfortunately on the night we dined it was raining and being wet before dinner isn't fun.
One of my go-to spots, I usually have the salmon or chopped salad - both of which are delicious. This time I had the salmon with shredded Brussel sprouts and puréed sweet potato. My salmon was perfectly cooked for me - cooked but not overly and still moist. Brussel sprouts were perfected braised - cooked through but still holding form. And the puréed sweet potato was delicious adding a tad of sweetness. Even their fresh brewed iced tea is notable. Great spot - for business or pleasure.
